The story & symbolism
The amulet is inspired by the Scythian people and their extravagant art which often features animals, especially deers. There could have been a sun-deer cult in this culture as well, this specific amulet is inspired by an actual find. The word for these people comes from the word "Archers", the Scythians were Indo-Europeans who were great archers and roamed the same lands that the Yamnaya did a thousand to two thousand years prior to them.
This amulet is to honor the great art these people also created, showing that ancient people werent only some 'barbarians' speaking a tongue that was weird and barbaric, but instead they were the forefathers of most European and near eastern cultures and in addition to war put great emphasis on art and self expression. In my opinion a stylized depiction of animals, people or anything really shows greater artistry than being able to copy the same topic one to one. Both are great feats, but artistry to bend the lines of reality really stands out to me. So this amulet honors the extravagant side of history and art of humans.
