As autumn approaches, rushing past the vast forests, making leaves on trees whisper louder and louder of her arrival. As she roams across midgard, leaving behind her a bronze path of leaves wherever she goes, her howls becoming longer and longer. They are heard in the cold winds representing the night time becoming longer and longer. Her songs sing to sleep the animals around us and lay to rest the crops we've planted through the year. Her howls announces to our homes that now is the time to finish our last open ends and to prepare for winter, to get warm and to get close. As she guides our world to sleep, make sure you also are ready to slow down in the near future, prepare stories, wrap up unfinished work, push now towards your goal so that when the white blanket is laid upon our world that you also get to rest
So with this piece I wanted to personify the season Autumn, which in old norse would be Haust. Thats where the name comes. And I wanted it to be perhaps of little help to you, if you need a bit of a push to get stuff done, as it is a time now when it gets dark and we get more tired both mentally and physically, maybe you can catch this wolf by its fur and get a little bit ahead!
