The story & symbolism
A Draugr with his treasure
You've probably heard about these fellas, if not from norse mythology then surely from popular media. Draugrs posses immense magical powers, like turning daytime into night, they have great strength, that of a bull and they are often bloated to the size of a bull as well. The only way to get rid of one is to decapitate it and get rid of its body, by turning it into ash and spreading it into the sea for example. What is also interesting is that people that have passed, if they are left sitting up they have a higher likelyhood to become a draugr, which makes me think - because around Scandinavia there is a lot of grave mounds from the stone age. In those mounds people who had passed were wrapped in leather and set sitting up, so could it be that some of the stories of draugrs also originate from these mound people?
In addition, someone who is very greedy will likely become a draugr and they are also very attached to the grave goods they are buried with - perhaps folklore to deter people from grave robbing. This is why I've depicted the draugr here holding onto his belongings. And since they have great magical powers I've also included the Aegishjalmur stave/symbol behind him - as they would strike fear into anyone coming face to face with them.
They are also described as incredibly ugly, rotten and reeking of stench - this depiction also features flies, tangly flesh and maggots on him. Also some of the jewelry I've made so its hard to see if its an insect or jewelry.
The best way to deter them is to stay away from their residing places, but if you come face to face with one - they are pretty much immune to iron and such, so you need to wrestle them back to their grave. So make sure to not skip on your martial arts lessons fellas!

How to measure
Items are measured by being laid flat on the ground, not by circumference. If you have any items that fit you well, lay them on the ground and measure them to get the best fit
