The story & symbolism
Heimdallr keeps watch for the other gods from his home Himinbjörg, where he will signal with his horn Gjallarhorn when Ragnarok is arriving. At his home is Bifröst, a rainbow bridge that connects the sky. He is said to be the brightest/shiniest of all the gods with very keen senses, that's why he likely is also the one keeping watch.
The face
Due to his keen senses I've depicted him with open eyes, keeping watch over danger. He is to sound his horn when any danger is close.
Gjallarhorn
His horn that he signals with is inspired by the Gallehus horns that were found in Denmark. The original horns found were drinking horns but I've taken inspiration from those to create this instrumental horn for him. It features images inspired by the Gallhus horns on them.
Bifröst
His back features attire that symbolizes the burning rainbow bridge Bifröst. The dots on the back are a pattern I use for clothing often, here it's to depict rain - which causes rainbows to show.
Worn by the neck
As all male deities that I've done he can be worn by the neck or used as an altar piece, amulet or keychain piece.
