The story & symbolism
Found in one of the famous Kizil Caves - this particular one is seen on one called the 'Cave of the Sixteen sword bearers' and features many pieces on people wearing garments, which is an interesting glimpse into the past and the fashion then. The pictures clearly indicate that people back then admired colors and flamboyant designs as well, not rugged brown and dirty clothes like movies often leave us believe.

The design is inspired by this one, they are dated to 432-538 CE and the swordsmen are also called Tocharian Donors.
