The story & symbolism
A design to honor the god Odin. Riddled with references to legends of the Allfather throughout history, mainly inspired by the helmet plates found that are date to around the Vendel era.
Back design
The face of Odin in a Vendel era helmet style. It features the wolves Geri and Freki as well as many references to the Allfather around the helmet. The beard is made up of a calligraffiti font of runes and had stanzas from the havamal on it. You can also use this font and it's available at the blog section under announcements.
Front design
Triangular shape to honor the Svinfylking, a formation that is said to have been taught to the humans by Odin himself. It featured two warriors on the front also known as Svinfylking - the boar warriors. It features decorative ravens and wolves as well as Gungnir aimed upwards to symbolize the legend where Odin hanged himself and pierced himself with his own spear to learn the runes.
Sleeves design
Running from the wrist to the shoulders are the 18 spell songs of Odin. Each has been visualized to represent what that spell does. Each sleeve features 9 of these as it is a sacred number associated with the amount of days the Allfather hung on the windy tree to learn the runes.

Well, for those who are worried about quality i can tell -- worry not! :-) Everything that should be stitched is stitched correctly, carefully and right at the right place. Obviously the print quality is fine as well. I have spent July hiking at the mountains and was wearing valhyr collection zip hoodie during hikes from time to time and was wearing it each evening after hike -- my worth fear about white cuffs is luckily not true, it doesn't get dirty after couple of dressings.I haven't been using folk vegvisir hoodie since it's quite warm for the current weather so can't tell anything besides overall quality.In short, I'm totally satisfied with these hoodies, thank you a lot!

This is definitively the warmest and comfiest hoodie I ve ever had, my girlfriend loved it so much,she stole it from me a day after I received it so I have no picture to show, but it swits great! Thank you all for doing this and helping me with all the delivery issues

Very nicely designed, warm, comfortable and overall just a pleasure to wear. I've had it for about two months now and it's served me very well. Keeps me warm during winter and I'm happy to say that it's definitely worth the wait and good way of looking a bit different/interesting when out in the public. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone interested. It's awesome :-)

I brought the Yule hoodie for my mum. She loves the design and how warm and comfortable it is. It fits her nicely, medium size and her height is 175cm. She likes how the colour, it's more burgundy than bright red. She noticed after washing the hoodie for the first time, there was some fabric pilling on the hoodie (not sure if this is normal or something with manufacturing). Other than that really great quality and very warm.

I bought this back in 2021 for $94. I came across this website from Instagram ads. I decided to buy it on a whim as it was a very new company. The cloak is still worn to this day on a regular basis almost 4 years later. It is warm, extremely durable and has been washed several times. It is hard to find anything that is good quality these days. I have spilled petrol on it before, food, hot sauce, you name it. It has never stained and looks like it was when it was first purchased. This is the only design I really like and if you are hesitant, you should go ahead and buy. Even at a price increase to $142 I still think its worth it

Warm, very comfortable, breathable, surprisingly light weight jacket. Awesome rune and ancient viking art. I brought a size Small and it fits perfectly (my height is 170cm). Also, the jacket seems windproof which is a great bonus. Perfect for colder days and is my new favourite hoodie! I will definitely be buying more clothes from Valhyr.

Weightless on your shoulders. Very warm and soft. I'm not the biggest fan of soft because I'd always been taught that comfort is associated with ergi, but I learned quickly that That's not true. Kickass jacket and great company 👌

This is my third time buying from Valhyr, like always it did not disappoint! I brought a size small which fits perfectly (my height is 170cm). Extremely warm, most comfortable jacket best for winter or very cold / windy days. The design is awesome, I love the history behind it and looks great. The jacket almost has a windproof feel on the outside, which is very useful to keep the wind off. Best warm jacket ever!! Thanks for the great quality hoodies!

Okay let me tell you… it has the fake wool in the sleeves too! I was so excited about it when i got it today. It really kept me warm today when i wore it after work. In my country it’s 5°C right now and i was comfortably warm with it. (I only wore a Tshirt under it)It’s really worth it and i will definitely rebuy a similar one here! Love it

I've been wearing it on cold nights and it's as if you're wearing an actual teddy bear. The material on the inside is very soft, warm and comfortable, and the design on the back looks amazing.I've only found one small downside: the end of the sleeves are very tight around my wrists, but there's ways around that, so not too much of an issue.Customer support was top-notch, will definitely do business again! :)
