The story & symbolism
Goddess of motherhood, protector of marriage, mother of Baldr and the legitimate wife of Odin. Frigg could be invoked for questioning as she knew the future but she wouldn't voluntarily tell it and if you got an answer it was mysterious and if falsely interpreted it could be misleading. She also had maidens with her, who have sometimes been interpreted as other names for Frigg herself.
Goddess of motherhood and marriage
As she is the goddess of motherhood I've depicted her as pregnant and her association with knowing the future I've used spirals in her design.
Tied hair and a cloak
As she has maidens I've depicted her with a bun, to symbolize a care-taken look as well as the cloak to symbolize her seeress-like abilities.
Worn by the braid
As with all of my goddess amulets she is worn by the braid as inspired by a woman warrior figure. But she can also be used as an altar piece.
