The story & symbolism
The Jörd Amulet made from bronze can be used as a necklace or altar piece. It can be worn by the braid and below I've listed certain aspects of the design:
Head details
Her face features two lines to symbolize water/rain and three cup marks on each side because cup marked stones are often found near old fields. So this is a reference for a fertile ground.
Chest details
She is seen holding a suncross as a reference to her goddess status and sunlight which is needed for plants to grow. Her dress below the sun is striped as again a reference to rain. Like the Odin amulet she is seen holding her arms on the stomach as a sign of confidence and certainity.
Braid details
She can be worn by the braid and the braid symbolizes fields.
Back details
The braids are tied and bloom into crops, this is to symbolise that soil is what grows us our crops. Her whole back is filled with fertile crops.
