The story & symbolism
This design is based on historical finds from Valsgärde in Sweden, and overall what we believe that the viking helmet looked like. A lot of the viking helmets found are actually prior to the Viking age itself, landing in what is called the Migration era 300-700 BCE. This piece features different kinds of stylized helmets all over the design.

A closeup of the helmets, representing all the fallen and buried from ancient times - in a way they are reborn or immortal, some of their stories we know, we tell them to this day. But some of them we only know what they were buried with thanks to evolving sciences like archaeology, thus reviving them in a way that we find out about their life.

Items are measured by being laid flat on the ground, not by circumference. If you have any items that fit you well, lay them on the ground and measure them to get the best fit
