The story & symbolism
Sol is the personification of the sun in Norse mythology and Hati is a wolf that is said to chase after a bright bride of the sky. There is also Mani which is the moon and Sköll which is a wolf that chases after a glowing priest of the sky.
Often it is accepted that Sol is chased by Sköll, but I like to play around with the idea - due to Sol being a woman and Hati a man, they are sister and brother. But since Hati is said to chase a bride thats why I often depict them together and during the viking ages, priests were men - while women were völvas and shamans. This design is a subtle hint to that story with a knotwork wolf on it and a row of different symbols for the sun

THE WOLF AND THE SUN
Here is a close up of some of the different sun symbols and the wolf hidden in the knotwork. Creating a subtle, more polite look when you want to have a something more smart-casual but still with hints to history & mythology.
