The story & symbolism
Thrud is the daughter of Thor and Sif. Her name means strength and she is attested in many stories, like Þórsdrápa where she is said to be the one that Thor longs after, and interestingly enough - there seem to be at least two stories about her that we have lost to time, but of which we have references of. One being that she at some point was kidnapped by Hrungnir, and that is the reason his father Thor battles the mighty brawler. The other being hinted at in Alvissmal, that the gods with the absence of Thor had promised Thrud as a bride to the dwarf Alviss. So she has a habit of getting lost, but none the less she can stand her own ground.
Turn to Thrud when you need that little extra help in your excercises, she is a great companion for workouts. She can also be gifted as a sign of protection, especially a fathers protection over his daughter. She can help you become more stubborn in a good, self-preserving, kind of way - helping you so that people do not take advantage of you. HEAD
I've made her looks inspired by the Sif and Thor amulets I've done - with wild hair and somewhat similar (in my opinion at least) facial features to that of Thor and Sif mixed. She has a calm face to symbolize that she is listening, but her nature is anything but calm - can't bee too chill with a dad like Thor.
HAMMER
She is holding a long hammer, as an ode to his fathers Mjölnir. She also prefers a blunt weapon. On the hammer head is a symbol from the runestone vg186, that I've interpreted as Jormungandr trying to devour Thor. So that little stickfigure resembling Thor I've incorporated in her hammer as the protection of her father over her.
ATTIRE
She is seen wearing a similar garment to that of the Thor amulet I've made. A gamberson like attire, that more of the simple folk as she and her father are referenced to as gods of the common people mostly.
