The story & symbolism
Freya is considered the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, seidr magic and war. She has a husband named Odr and one can wonder, if that could be Odin. She is great with cats, as she herself is said to have a chariot pulled by cats. Turn to her when you need to question or wish for love, beauty, youth and health. She can also be called to when your cat friends need help or encouragement. And one can also summon Freya when they need luck in business ventures, as she is associated with gold. To your home she brings protection, like a light beam from the sun always shining bright on your home. She also makes it a very welcoming environment for cats and creates a loving and soft atmosphere around your house. She also spices up the life in the bedroom.
FACE ART
She can be seen crying, this is a reference to her crying tears of gold while missing her husband. It's told that her husband named Od would disappear and she would look for him throughout Midgard.
FRONTSIDE ELEMENTS
Wearing her necklace Brísingamen which was a shiny necklace or torc that Freya had, I tried to loosely base it on a find from Östergötland. She is also seen holding something that has a spiral shape, this is a reference to Seidr - the magic of spinning and weaving which Freya also teaches to Odin. From her hands fall small braidlike figures, these are actually references to souls that she picks for Folkvangr and they are being weaved into her dress - this is like a metaphor for becoming hers.
THE BRAID
She can be seen with an elegant braid running from the top of her head and her hair being shaved from the side. This is just a hairstyle I really like when it's shaved on the side, no other meaning to this sorry :D But I find it fitting for her character, the top braid though is strong and also a reference to Seidr.
FALCON CLOAK
And her mighty cloak, which is made up of falcon feathers that she can use to fly. This cloak is also borrowed by gods to grant them the ability to fly.
