The story & symbolism
Here is Odin ripping mad air jumping over the slain with his new skateboard made from the bark of Yggdrasil
I was inspired to make this piece after I’ve been on etsy looking at altar pieces and the majority of the items are some cnc woodcarved statues claiming to be handmade that are dropshipped from third world countries of Freya with bigger milkers than Midgard and Jormungandr combined and Thor and Odin with pecs so big Arnold is asking them where they got their juice from. Looking at those all i could hear in my head was “LIGHTWEIGHT BABYYYY”
I’m also inspired by all the knowledge I’ve seen on the internet on norse mythology and pagan religion that are reinterpetations taken from wikipedia and people calling it research so I’ve decided to also go that route so here is the new lore that just dropped on Odin - make sure you quote this on ur new pieces and videos and call it research fellas!
“The name Odin comes from the old norse word Odeargod which means frenzy or fury and he got that name when he did his first big air and landed and a security guy was like DAMNN BOIIII and then ppl gave him that name and everyone clapped”
Also cus the bazooka Freya and valkyrie statues are so popular i’ve depicted his board with yggdrasil on it surrounded by valkyries with their tittur out cus what is more pagan than naked ladies am i rite fellas 💪
