And at the top are nine spears as a reference to the 9th year Uppsala temple tradition, now even though the temple held statues of Odin, Freyr and Thor, I’ve used it here as a symbol for sacrifice. I do believe that during the 9th year those 3 gods were the main deities they sacrifices to, but i also believe Hel was sacrificed to, either in bogs or other bodies of water.
