Made from the foam of the sea to which wool has been thrown to, the moon and other celestial bodies take care of the first bear to be created, guarded by other nature deities and beings. These I've depicted on the bottom rows of the picture, with foamy seas, maidens and nature all coming together to form the bear\u003cbr\u003e\nThe nose turning into eyeguards is inspired by a petroglyph found in Karelia, believed to be a swan and an egg. The eyeguards then develop into little bears as I had wolves on the Fenrirs one, and then an Oak tree above which Väinämöinen is holding onto to the edge of the sky. Väinämöinen is the great hero of the Kalevala, and he is included in most stories, playing his kannel and singing his magical songs.
